Hey! Hope this note finds you well and joyous. I was coming home and noticed your dojo on Coney Island Ave. I'm in need of a place to teach my sons how to roll and fall. We do Jujitsu-Aikido. I can't afford to put my children in classes at the moment. I wondered would you be open to something like we could clean up the dojo in exchange for ability to use or something.

Please let me know.

Best Regards,

Looks like all had great fun!

When I was a kid my favorite night of the year was when we had the Halloween party at the dojo. My Sensei would always come up with fun things to do on the mat and our normal serious practice was replaced with a wee bit of mischief.

I was feeling a bit nostalgic and just wanted to share how important I think it is for Dojos to include these types of activities. Martial Arts are serious, but kids are still kids.
